They can use pencils or watercolours for this excercise.
Hand out some watercolour paper and ask the children to draw the fruit's outline and shape life size.
Ask the children to look at the skin and draw as much texture as possible and then take a bite! Place the fruit down and draw the newly bitten fruit. Once again, ask the children to draw to scale and notice the light and dark areas of the fruit.
Continue this process as many times as you want.
